These guys that do these videos need to focus on their voice a little more. They all sound dull.

A long time ago I had a radio show and it was a lot of fun. You have to PUNCH important words you are saying and not be monotone.

Clear your throat and get your voice out of your nose and into your throat.

Then say..."Frank Gorshin was ZANY in that ROLE! He brought CARTOON level Physicality!

Do not say..."Frankgorshinwaszanyinthatrole...hebroughtcartoonlevelphysicality...blaaahhhh!

He's not as monotonous as you suggest in your transcription of his delivery. He's conversationally animated and the pitch and volume of his voice varies quite a bit. After all, he's not a professional radio personality, he's a tv historian. I wouldn't want him to sound like some manic DJ doing a used car commercial.

He is not any of that. He is nasal and monotone.

If you want to see an example of what I've said, watch almost any BBC history or travel show.

They sound excited and punch words.

It's THE WAY to keep your audience engaged because you're speaking as if something urgent is happening.

It makes it more exciting.
