I have not seen the series for 35 years but I remember liking the music very much. (Edwin Astley) I would like to obtain the main title theme somewhere.

Wish I could help you Thunderman. I like it alot too; but know of NO recording
of it commercially available or otherwise. If you ever discover one, please let me know-I'll do the same for you. Thanks.

First tune is not from The Baron TV series and the last tune 'Avenues and Alleyways' is from Gerry Anderson's The Protectors (sung by Tony Christie).

Theme is included on "This Is... Cult Fiction Royale", a double CD set from the UK.

Your'e correct on the above! This double CD set is great I have one; copies can change hands for small fortunes these days! Very good sound(s) with 100% original themes.

You have to be kidding?? I bought that for less than £10 years ago, and I'm fairly sure it's not deleted or anything.
Also, for a really catchy tv theme, what about "The Adventurer", starring Gene Barry and music by John Barry?

Deleted for sure; But still very hard to get Amazon sellers? "Adventurer" yes it's good also.
Fireball XL5 has ascending turbo-rocket noise as the prologue! All great stuff. Best.
