On BBC4 right now!

I'm watching it, its pretty good. Reminds me a little of The League of Extaordinary Gentlemen. It's ripe for a remake I say.

lovely isn't it. A remake should be on the cards. But then how many people will claim it's an 'austin powers' rip-off

Well, in my opinion it was pretty poor. Why would an Edwardian man not know what a telephone, electric light, or escalator were since these were in common use in 1902? And the acting was dreadful.

A remake is perhaps more likely following the success of the BBC's Life On Mars – itself a part of the post-Doctor Who relaunch success and subsequent revival of the telefantasy genre. Isn't Adam Adamant a bit similar, though, to Life on Mars in concept, and Austin Powers in specific nature? They both ripped it off, of course, but ITV's Primeval is struggling a bit NOT to be Doctor Who... ! ITV tried first to remake Sapphire and Steel, incidentally, but the original creator didn't like their proposed changes (he is now writing for Torchwood instead!)
