In October 2003, the Chicago Tribune reported that the yellow Rolls-Royce is owned by Neal Kirkham of Saratoga, California, USA.
There is a facinating article in our Rolls Royce Owners Club magazine "The Flying Lady". It details the history of the car, the current owner and the process to change the P II into the Yellow rolls Royce from its original livery of Blue and Black. The car won the Licius Beebe award for the Most Elegant Rolls Royce at the Pebble Beach Concours. They did not have more than one since all Rolls Royces are unique.

I saw it today in Palo Alto and it looked great.
sharethe wonders of the internet never cease :) I was curious about the car, it's the first time I'm watching this movie. It's amusing to know it's been seen around the neighborhood.
Suppose the movie was shot in Italy .. not a studio ?! .. they must have shipped the car all over the world for filming.
Matter of fact it was shot in Italy, Austria and England. According to a short film about the making of the movie. Turner Classic Movies usually runs it before this movie. It's interesting to me because it is in black and white. You would think that a documentary about a yellow Rolls-Royce would be in color.
