Anyone know what happened to the cars they used in these movies? Did they get preserved somewhere?

I liked the Cars, too. A great musical group.
Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible.
I think the Cars were and still are awesome, but he asked if they were preserved. I wouldn't think the whole group is important, just Ric Ocasek. Don't know if cryogenics is even proven technology at this point.
