Someone buy me the rights, drop a buncha money on me and I will REMAKE this movie exactly as it was made back then: bad effects ships on strings, funky sets remade, the cars the women, NOTHING modern about it, just remake it exactly like it was so there will be a version we can buy and enjoy on Bluray, dvd, netflix, redbox

That is an excellent idea, but I think SyFy did it already and called it Terminators. It was just as bad as the original, but instead of bald guys with black trench coats, they had clones of muscular guys in tank tops.
