A classic

This is one of the funniest sci-fi movies I've ever seen. It beats Plan 9 From Outer Space for cheesyness. The acting is so wooden, the dialog is so lame, the special effects are laughable! The actors must have been perpetually humiliated by having acted in this movie. Those "Helium heads"! The fight with the three "girls" (aliens) was the funniest scene. I laughed until my stomach hurt!
There are so many funny scenes I can't remember them all. At one point, the bad guy, Nermi, carelessly throws something at the "most perfect machine ever made" and breaks it! Then at the end, all the scenery is wrecked. They must have known there wouldn't be a sequel!
Great movie. A classic! Filmed in "Cornycolor" instead of Technicolor; just ot go with the rest of the script.

Errr... actually, THREE sequels were made to this movie.

I saw this back to back with "War With The Planets" on TCM! I caught the tail end on "War..." with the planet on fire and thought what a cheesefest! Then "Wild,..." came on, it was the same actors and actresses, same costumes, same set and same wooden acting! Love the cars and some of the sets... the editor Dwell would kill for those fabulous furniture. Oh joy! I spent an enjoyable mindless afternoon.

This "cheese" has to rank right up or should I say down with the worst film EVER. Saw this today on TCM and have to admit it is actually worse than my all-time #1. Battlefield Earth. Man, did this STINK! LOL
