"Organising protest marches in the UK and demanding that the UK give up unilateraly its nukes. No nation have got the bomb ever has." <== Australia, Brazil and South Africa terminated their nuclear weapon programs. And what were these "controversial plays"? The pressure was related to this docu-drama alone. Including alleged intervention from the Home Office and the Ministry of Defence. The scene was of a police officer performing a mercy killing of a person terminally ill with radition sickness. The BBC themselves were the ones who first organised screenings, for interested politicans and reporters.
And what on Earth has that last line got to do with anything? Are you even British?

capt didn't say they had nuclear weapons, s/he said that they terminated their nuclear weapons programmes.

and south africa did actually build (and subsequently dismantled) six nuclear weapons.

Some corrections:

- Australia, a member of the British commonwealth, never had its own nuclear program; instead it served as the Brits' testing ground.

- South Africa was the only one to produce weapons. Brazil's program never produced a nuclear device. Brazil merely gave up the work; South Africa actually went so far as to give up real weapons it had produced (but of course, was the only one of the ones you listed that had them to give up.)

"actually went so far as to give up real weapons it had produced"

not before the apartheid regime helped Israel develop the first of her malevolent clutch which now numbers around 200 with more coming out of Dimona.

It's ironic that a thread with the subject Censorship has so many replies removed by an administrator. They must not have been PC enough.

Yeah, republicans love going on and on about censorship..as long as it's their ideas that are being censored..but they would love censoring liberal ideas. Just round up all those liberals and put tape on their mouths..
