What house has a entrance door that opens outward?
I know it's Benedict Castle, but I thought it was very unusual to have an entrance door open on the outside. Anyone else think it's strange?

The only reason I can see for changing the front door configuration would be if this were now a public building, a door opening out would conform to fire laws.
It is unusual.
I suspect you're right. I've worked on hundreds of houses -- building & rehab -- and have never seen outward opening main doors. Generally they open inward so that a person can more easily enter while carrying packages, a child, etc.
If it's not strictly commercial now, perhaps it's open for tours, or for lease as a movie location, and fire laws may require those outward-opening doors.
