MGM-HD's Transfer

Up until recently, Ligeia was a horrible 4x3 pan & scan transfer, which I erased very quickly! It showed up again recently so I recorded it again on the slight off-chance that it might be updated. To my surprise, this time around it was a beautiful 2.35:1 hi-def transfer. The downside to this is that MGM run a logo throughout the transmission and is bright enough to cause 'burn-in'. Why can't they do the same as HDNET MOVIES and just show their logo now and again and unobtrusively?
MGM HD have also shown excellent HD transfers of "Haunted Palace" and "Crimson Cult".
