This is my favorite Poe film. Naomi Watts not only has good experience with horror and thriller films, but she also resembles Elizabeth Shepherd. I hereby nominate Naomi for a remake of this Poe classic.

I'd watch Naomi Watts in a remake of this, just as I'd watch Naomi Watts balancing her checkbook, but I'd rather see her make some original films.

Why make a remake? Just make a different adaptation of the original story.

I agree. Make another adaptation that more closely focuses on Ligeia herself. Ligeia being a raven-haired Mediterranean woman (not a blonde Brit like Watts). I would love to see someone like Asia Argento or even Bojana Novakovic....
