The scene in which Bond killed Fiona by shooting the harpoon into her vagina would never make it through the edit bay today... Gotta love his pun though. "Well, she won't be needing an abortion." lol

No, I believe that was only in the remastered version. They edited out the original death scene because it was too politically incorrect.

WOW! Do you have an actual copy of the entire unedited director's cut? Don't remember seeing that scene when this was released in the theatres. With all of the un-diluted, un-censored, raw, graphic, sexually explicit, blatant subject matter they are allowing in films today; IF this movie was made today, without a doubt, and most likely that scene probably would've been included.

Yeah, but it's pretty rare, you can find it on eBay though (VHS format), it usually goes for something like 60-80 $.

I love me some Sean Connery/James Bond...but he's not going to get $60-80 bucks out of me...LOL! Besides....if I actually had a chance to see that scene...it would probably be a major turn off....and make me fall out of love with him quick fast and in a hurry! So.....I better leave well enough alone.

I'm pretty sure you are making this up. If they had originally killed her off with a harpoon, it would have been in a much different scene, which would have changed a bunch of other parts in the movie. Instead of the scene where he escapes in the parade and manages to get her to take the bullet meant for him, they would have had to delete that whole part of the scene and add a different scene with a harpoon.

I also doubt he said that line. That seems like way too controversial of a line to have made it into any version.
