Raquel Welch, Faye Dunaway, or Julie Christie as Domino?

Raquel Welch, Faye Dunaway and Julie Christie were the most famous of the many actresses considered for the role of Domino. Which one do you think would have been the best casting if they hadn't cast Claudine Auger?

I'd pick Raquel Welch. Misses Dunaway and Christie were better actresses but Miss Welch was so gorgeous in her prime and would've fit the role perfectly. Faye Dunaway would've made a better Bond villainess than lead Bond girl although I wouldn't want anyone but Luciana Paluzzi in the role of Fiona Volpe. Faye would've made a good Helga Brandt/SPECTRE no. 11 in YOLT. Julie Christie would've been better as Tilly Masterson alias "Soames" in GF or as Gala Brand if they had made a faithful screen adaptation of MR back in the 1960s.

Non too bombshells and sexy to play Domino.

Domino is gorgeous and sexy but she is more like an innocent young woman staying with the wrong man.
For Domino i would have cast someone like Audrey Hepburn if Claudine wouldnt have been avilable.

I seee all these woman more like Fiona than Domino. Like i said Domino has an angel face. domino is really sweet and an adorable Bond girl,nshe was a doll not a femme Fatale.

Cubby Brocoli actually wanted Raquel but she was busy filming "Fantastic Voyage" at the time.

He also rejected Julie mainly because her breasts were too small.

As for Faye, I have NEVER heard that she was considered but it could be true.
