'We like to end up at Romano's.'

For decades, I had no idea what he was saying. It sounded like - "We like to end up at Drammaners".

I had the soundtrack LP and this dialog and more was included on the LP....but I could never decipher it.

So, finally, I looked here on the IMDB board and some posters said it was Romano's and guessed it was a restaurant.

James Fox hesitates for a moment when explaining his weekly visits there to Robert Morley, Sarah Miles father.

Here's the reason why-

".....a restaurant of strong character and complete distinction-that entirely delectable place known as Romano's.

To Romano's flocked the Bohemians, men and women of the greasepaint, authors, journalists, artists of all kinds, soldiers, sailors (but not of "other ranks"), men of the law, of finance, of the race-course and the prize-rings-and crooks as well. The place was really an informal club of which they were all members and of which they respected the rules."
