Where did Ponticelle's plane crash in Paris ?

Spoiler -

Ponticelli jumped from his own plane to the American biplane shortly after they circled the Eiffel Tower, and his plane caught fire. It must have crashed in downtown Paris, with no pilot. The film makers left that little item out. I suppose it was too expensive to have it ditch in the Seine River. Never noticed that until now and I've seen the film many times.

Wow, I don't even remember that part.

VERY expensive considering Ponticelli`s plane is actualy a real original from 1912 (a Blackburn monoplane), unlike all the other flying planes in this which were replicas.
