OK, I was only 7 years old when this movie was released, but am I the only one who thought Dean Jones was TOTALLY hot in this movie?

Yes, Dean Jones was very handsome in this movie...he was pretty underrated, if you ask me. I think they tried to play up his good looks a little when Hayley Mills's character sort of flirted with him ('you're very athletic-looking...do you surf?' - to which he responds about how dorky his legs look in the shorts. Phew...if ONLY we could see him in those shorts! Hahaha!)
You're not alone...but I think relatively normal looking guys like Jones are very attractive, so I fear we're in a minority! All I know is that Zeke Kelso could have investigated ME any day! Hahaha...
I love Dean Jones in this movie. Not that I've ever seen any of his other movies. I'm going to have to keep an eye out for them.
He was VERY attractive. *sigh* Guys just aren't like that anymore. There's something about a guy in a suit and tie...
He looked a little like Frank Sinatra to me.
Then again, Roddy McDowell sometimes would remind me of Dick VanDyke, so what do I know, eh?

If you want movies with Dean Jones, look for The Love Bug, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit, Blackbeard's Ghost, The Million Dollar Duck, The Ugly Dachsund, Snowball Express, Monkeys Go Home, The Shaggy D.A. (Disney liked Dean Jones and used him a lot!) I also saw a movie with him and Barbara Eden on T.V. titled Guess Whose Been Sleeping in my Bed? in 1973. I also saw a movie with him turning invisible - I think it was called The Invisible Man, but I can't be certain.

That was the only reason I sat through the whole movie (it was waaay too long) when watching with my family the other night and trying to be subtle checking out another man in front of my husband. Wish we would have seen him in the shorts - the ones men wore in the Sixties were SHORT.

He was definitely very good looking. I was never obsessed with him, however. I mainly enjoyed the movie for the humor that was in it.
