Widescreen DVD please!!!

Am I the only one who would like to a widescreen version in surround sound? If you would like to as well post here.

Go to tvshowsondvd.com and vote for Batman from 1966 and help get it on DVD.

Many of the Disney movies are only available on DVD in full screen, Disney doesn't seem to care about even bothering with widescreen!

Hi,
Just thought you might like to know that Disney released a widescreen DVD of this (and The Moonspinners, also with Hayley Mills) in Europe... and it's pretty cheap to order... if you have a multi-region player, that is.

You're certainly not alone here; this is one of the most frustrating of the many cases of Disney indifference to the widescreen format. Please revisit!

Hello folks

In those days, Disney Germany has released the movie on DVD in the correct 1.85:1 Format.

Languages on the DVD: English and german dubbed and contains also subitles.

Region Code may be 2 (so you must have codefree player!!!!).
The picture quality lookks in my mind very good.

I don't know if the DVD is Codefree or not
