I'd give it at least a 7.8. It's one of the funniest, most clever films I've ever seen. I'm amazed that people don't understand how great it really is.

I wish it had a stronger reputation. It's easily one of, if not the best of Disney's live action comedies from the time.
I agree. I loved it as a kid and recently watched it again. It's well-crafted and has held up well.
shareI would say this is the best disney movie of the 60's. An above average Disney cast. Second choice would be the boatniks, another great movie with a great cast.
shareI remember the Boatniks, but I don't think I ever saw it. Will have to check it out. I recently watched another Hayley Mills movie from the 60s, The Moon-Spinners, and it has actually held up fairly well, too. In Search of the Castaways, on the other hand, has not.
