John Ensign at age 47 portrayed teenage Jimmy Walton?

John Ensign's IMDb page indicates that he was born on April the 6th 1917. Yes 1917! Or so IMDb says. This movie was released in 1964. Therefore Ensign would have to have been 47 when this movie was released. I detect there's gotta be an error somewhere because when I saw this film, John Ensign/Jimmy Walton didn't look anywhere over 20. So either IMDb made a mistake about his birthdate, or WOW!, that guy looked incredibly young for 47 and did a stupendous job of playing as a teenager.

Yes, Johnny. I agree with you about that actor's age. I've seen that movie too at YouTube.com, courtesy of MST3K. Him (John Ensign/Jimmy), being born in 1917 and at 47 years old portraying a high school student? Maybe IMDb really did make a mistake or perhaps somebody updated wrong information on the birthdate of John Ensign.

reply

Yeah I think a lot of birthdates on this site are wrong. I've seen ones where the kid is about 9 or so and it says they are 12-13. He was probably born around 1947.

reply

He's only got one credit. Probably another guy.

All y'all realize that John Ensign played the detective, right? His age was right on for that.

Bill Bloom, who played Jimmy Walton, was born in 1948.

John Ensign played Lieutenant Anderson and looked every bit of 47.

reply

"The name I have is..... Anderson!"

Great film.

reply

Anderson... that's me!
