Anybody notice that Jimmy's nerdy friend(the one who got pushed up against the wall) never reacted in any way to his girlfriend getting killed by the strangler? She was the one who got strangled in her shower by 'Abraham Lincoln'. Yet Tony never mourns for her or even mentions her again! It's really weird.

He doesn't notice. She never existed. This movie is actually a study in Brechtian character alienation in a sort of French "nouvelle vague" kind of way; think of Godard or Bunuel...

Or maybe not.
