Ironically, one of the new occupants is a community art center, which is quite a change from filming this flick in the basement.
I heard that basement is Coleman Francis's grave and that he ran a hot dog stand there when it weren't.

I live across the street, and seeing it right in the opening was pretty cool. Easily the prettiest building in town; don't know why they didn't do more shooting there. Certainly the movie couldn't have suffered from nicer scenery, since it had nothing else going for it.
