Canonical Lines in Non-Canonical Works

I've recently started to wonder how often (if ever) lines of dialouge that appear in ACD's canonical stories make their way into non-canonical works, such as this film.
Any stand out to other viewers who are also lovers of the original stories?
Thanks.

I was surprised to see they used the actual dialogue exchange where Polly Nichols boasted to her landlord that she will get money for her lodgings thanks to a lovely new bonnet she bought, except this movie gives that scene to Annie Chapman.

...When they found her, she was still smiling.
