OMG James Brown!


Didn't expect much from this 60s ski/beach party movie......but hellll, yes, James Brown in a Christmasy sweater singing "I Feel Good," dang this is heaven!

That was cool but not favorite JB movie appearance. that would be BLUES BROTHERS & DR DETROIT
Back to SKI PARTY, JB & the Famous Flames just pops in and starts lip syncing to his record that mysteriously starts playing Yeah I'll buy that
At the end of the movie it says "I Got You" -music & lyrics by Ted Wright. But on official records the credit goes to James Brown. Anybody care to explain that

Re the Music Credit:

In 1964, Brown was in a contract dispute w/King Records (he left them and signed a new deal w/Mercury imprint Smash Records. King sued to block Brown from the new deal). "Ted Wright" was a pseudonym Brown used for songs released during the dispute to prevent King Records from claiming ownership.
