I'm trying to confirm whether Lyle Talbot has a small, unbilled role as the phony SDI agent who arrests Hoffman at the Texaco station and later gets a car hood smashed on his head by Maharis. Can a fellow character actor aficionado confirm or deny this suspected sighting?

Good movie. I recently found a copy of the original novel by Alistair MacLean and am looking forward to reading it and seeing how the movie compared.
