Is this the greatest horror movie ever made ?

Please make a list of better horror movies in your opinion :
I think the only two horror movies that could even touch this are
1- Persona
2- Psycho

It's different and unique. Haven't seen it on anywhere in ages.

Persona? Hardly a horror movie.

I think anything shot in that PSYCHO/TwilightZone/ColdWar era of the early-'60s, especially in B&W, is going to feel a little bit like a horror movie -- and that even includes Opie losing his baseball in the haunted murder mansion on the edge of Mayberry (which was ridiculously creepy despite being absurdly comedic).

It's simply the end-of-the-world, pre-apocalyptic vibe of that time.

So, yes, REPULSION indeed has a horror movie element to it which is almost unavoidable.

It might be. It'd make my top three;
- Repulsion (1965)
- Rosemary's Baby (1968)
- Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)

The following movies would duke it out for the remaining seven placings of my top ten;
- Psycho (1960)
- The Innocents (1961)
- The Birds (1963)
- The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967)
- The Exorcist (1973)
- The Wicker Man (1973)
- Black Christmas (1974)
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
- Carrie (1976)
- The Omen (1976)
- Suspiria (1977)
- Halloween (1978)
- Alien (1979)
- The Shining (1980)
- Possession (1981)
- Poltergeist (1982)
- Videodrome (1983)
- The Dead Zone (1983)
- The Fly (1986)
- Hellraiser (1987)
- Candyman (1992)
- Scream (1996)
