I have been dreaming about seeing this film ever since *I* was 13... I finally got the chance thanks to the miracle of DVD technology... and was I disappointed??? Not a bit! The film is brilliant... sure, it's low budget and looks it... but look at what they accomplished with their meagre resources! I was amazed to learn that the film actually PRE-DATED the campy 60s Batman TV show... I'd always assumed it was inspired by Adam West et al. Wonderful music... terrific black and white photography... and SO WHAT if the sound was all added in afterwards??? Geez, some people just don't know a good thing when they see it.
In regards to your question, the Region 1 DVD has a commentary by Ray Dennis Steckler... as well as a lengthy interview (which re-hashes a lot of the same material as in the commentary). There is also a trailer for Rat Pfink... as well as one for Lemon Grove Kids Meet The Monsters and another more recent Steckler effort. There is a "gallery" of promotional art etc. but it isn't very impressive. DVD is also packaged with a *free bonus gift* (a Rat Pfink and Boo Boo sticker). The film is shown in widescreen and the print looks great... plus you can pick up the DVD pretty cheaply... well worth the money!
