Why didn't they shave her head?

When they were getting Joan ready for her execution, why did they leave her hair as it was? Every other movie I've seen, every picture I've seen of her at the stake, her head has been shaved, as a form of humiliation. So why didn't they do it here?

I thought that was strange too, especially since somebody mentions not to leave a hair on her body.
