Any chance of a Criterion release?

Not soon, I don't think. I believe Criterion has acquired the rights to "Pierrot le Fou", but it will be some time before it is released. My guess would be 2007. Most likely, the next Godard to get the Criterion treatment will be "2 ou 3 Choses que Je Sais d'Elle", after it makes its theatrical run. Rialto Pictures lists it as a pending release, but with no dates yet. Hopefully that will be shown early next year, and it will show up on DVD several months later, clearing the way for "Pierrot".

You might check the Criterion forums to stay abreast of the latest rumors, but I'm almost positive this will be released by Criterion in the next few years.
