First Interracial Kiss in Movie History

I'm pretty sure A Patch of Blue was not the first film to feature an interracial kiss. Does anyone know which film had the first, or at least does anyone know of any films earlier than this that contain interracial kisses?

It occurred much earlier than you'd think. The first film to feature such a kiss is a 1903 silent short entitled What Happened in the Tunnel. I had to research it for a trivia quiz once.

"Well, for once the rich white man is in control!" C. M. Burns

This part of American history is before my time (I was born in 1962), but I believe that considerably less stigma was attached to romantic relationships between whites and Asians. This is indicated also in the fact that there are earlier films concerning such relationships. I was thinking in particular of "Love is a Many Splendored Thing". Okay the actress (Jennifer Jones) was white, but I believe the character she was playing was a half-Asian woman who falls in love with a white man and the film features interracial kissing. Also, the World of Suzie Wong, with the title character played by Nancy Kwan (herself half-Asian) involved an inter-racial relationship and featured kissing. By coincidence both films star William Holden as the white lover. I have never seen "Sayonara", but I know the story involves romance between white American men and Japanese women.
