LOL !!!!!!!!!!

I saw this in French (on tv) when I was a kid in the 80's. Even then I knew this was a very bad, US colonial empire-wishin', slightly white supremacist, travel infomercial-type sh.. movie (although infomercials didn't yet exist ;).

The freeze-frame in the "Stop" song is hilllAAAArious.

Wow....It never fails to amaze me how some people can find a way to squeeze an Anti-USA message into everything they think and say. Even in the most seemingly inoffensive of places.

As a "colonial empire wishin'" American the jealousy of people from other countries constantly makes me laugh.

A word of advice; if you hate us so, then stop obsessing over us. Avoid thinking and complaining about America. You will be much happier if you just ignore those things you hate.

But do it quietly. No one really cares what you think. Your constant yammering is about and annoying (and effective) as a little Chihuahua yapping at a Great Dane.

The funny thing is I have a friend from Eastern Europe and she said that Europeans can be some of the most intolerant people out there. They talk a good talk, come off as progressive, and critique the USA....no problem. But she said that they can be very judgmental/critical of those who are not like them.
In fact, she went as far as to say that she is really impressed with the USA in the ten years she has been here. She said that considering the level of diversity here in the States she thinks we get along pretty well.
