I hate holocaust films... should I bother?

So far every one I've seen is boring and sentimental crap. Is this just another film that portrays the holocaust as some horribly evil bad thing for us to cry about?

Would you prefer to portray the Holocaust as something for to rejoice about? What serious movie would you define as NOT boring and sentimental crap?

Another post from long ago. My spouse does not like holocaust films either ... it took a week before he said, hey, put that movie in, after I told him the subject matter. Within the first 10 minutes he was captivated. A very good film. 10 out of 10.
