It's so sad that their truce couldn't lasted a little longer

The Marines and Japanese troops worked so hard to deal with the storm. It's so sad that they couldn't continue the truce after all that. ----- ---- Rusty

That's part of the ultimate point of the film... These similar men, whose only real barrier between them should have been that of an uncommon language, could easily and competently work together to achieve great things. As the film fades out the words "Nobody Wins" are shown on screen ..... Sad, but true.

This really is a gem of a picture, IMO...

I completely forgot to mention that I had watched "None but the Brave" from a five DVD Frank Sinatra film collection put out by Warner Brothers that I just bought for just $34.99 at Best Buy. ----- It was great to put my widescreen TV on zoom and watch the movie that way. Just about as good as getting to see the movie in a theater again. ----- I like your name and signature since it relates to the movie "Tarzan Truimphs". I really enjoy the scene when boy says "Sandra will come and cook for us for us often Tarzan as soon as you drive the Nazis away". Tarzan angrily says "So Sandra try to bribe Tarzan, no, no!! He shoves all the bowls on the table and gets up and says "Tarzan swim!" and then storms out of the hut. "Tarzan Truimphs" is one of my favorite Tarzan movies. ----- ----- Rusty
