shareI wonder the same thing. The opening title is in Japanese, and the film was released in Japan as "Yusha nomi", so I'm sure Japanese people saw it. I'd really like to know how it was received. To me it seems like a very impartial war film (you can associate with either side and get the same message). That's very rare.
