Die, Monster, Die remake

Die, Monster, Die! is a 1965 adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's "The Colour Out of Space". The film with Claude Akins was called The Curse and made in 1987, which was simply another attempt at doing "The Colour Out of Space". So no, it wasn't a remake of this movie, but a separate attempt to adapt the Lovecraft story, and quite badly at that. Both fail by changing way too much about the story. There is a German film from 2010 called Die Farbe or in America called The Color Out of Space which is much truer to the Lovecraft story than either one of the previous two flicks. While it changes a few elements here or there, it is a pretty faithful and well received film. Third times a charm, I guess.
