Working on sequel.

I am working on a sequel to Monster A-Go Go with the tentative title of "Monster A-Go Go 2000". If there is anyone in the Detroit area who would like to get involved, email the below email address.

I will be shooting the film in Black and White Super 8 with processing to be done at home with a home kit of Kodak reversal film development chemicals. I have already done a test roll from a developer out of state and I am very pleased to say it captures the slightly grainy black-and-white look of mid-sixties horror movies quite well. I will also be composing the music to the soundtrack myself using a variety of casio keyboards; since I am not a musician I expect the results to be quite awful.

I am also planning a sequence to take place in outer space which will take the NASA scientists to Monster A-Go Go's home planet in order to blow it up. Models will be created with kit bashing and will have a VERY cheap look. (expect to see lots of strings). There is also a graveyard right next to where I live and I expect to use that at the beginning of the film (e.g., Monster as a reanimated space zombie). I have seen decades of bad grade Z sci-fi movies and I think it is time to get my revenge...

I doubt it could be as bad as the original. Good luck!

If he just turned his camera on and throw it into toilet and took a *beep* on it then wanked all over the camera it wouldnt be as bad as this movie.

Don't forget that the remake could be accomplished with puppets, no wait a minute...that's too interesting a concept. Nah, forget what I just said.

To out do the original you'll need miles of film that once edited, still won't add up to a coherent story, pointless music, and characters that come and go
with little notice. And remember, HAVE NO ENDING!

Was this movie ever made? I'd love to see it.
