Why is this not on DVD?

I know it was a flop when it came out, but this is such a unique movie, it is perfect for rediscovery on DVD. Does Warren Beatty own the film, and is he suppressing its release?

I'll add a vote for a release. It's a quirky film, but I figure there has to be some sort of interest as sort of a prequel to 'Bonnie and Clyde' -- Penn, Beatty, life on the run.

Sony has DVD plans for Mickey One and they are waiting on Warren Beatty who is dragging his feet to participate in the features for the DVD.
