Does this have numerous scenes of villagers dancing?

I came here to read some reviews to decide whether or not to watch this. When I saw Senta Berger was in it, it prompted memories, and I realised that I may have seen it years ago. The main memory that I have of what I think may be it is, firstly, a drunken Charlton Heston and, secondly, constant scenes of Mexican villagers dancing. Is that this, or am I thinking of something else? Thanks.

Yes, this is the one that you were thinking about. The scene with the dancing villagers is the part when Dundee opens fire on a French outpost and captures the small garrison. He "appropriates" French supplies and gives some to the villagers. Afterwards, there is a celebration where the villages perform as a show of gratitude.

Thanks. I might give it a miss. If I recall correctly it wasn't one of my favourite Charlton Heston movies, much as I usually love them. I think instead I'll rewatch "The Warlord" or "Will Penny", or have a dose of vampires with "The Omega Man". In my opinion, he was in so many good movies.

The Omega Man had mutants.

I think the original version of omega man, with Vincent price called last man on earth I think, had the vampires or something similar.

You are correct, it was vampires in Last Man on Earth. That is the movie which taught me to keep them away with garlic.
