The body of the astronaut

Okay, I just got home from work late and caught the last 30 minutes of this classic on TCM. I never saw it in the theatres, and this is the first time I've seen it on a big TV like we have now. Clear print too.

So I noticed that in the poem from Dennis to Aimee Dennis misspelled "bark." Cool enough.

But the body of the astronaut about to be rocketed into orbit, when Joyboy is working on it, looks so much like Marlon Brando.

Surely if it was, or was made up to look like him, it would be an item of note but although I looked at about a third of the comments on this film and all of the threads on this board there's no mention.

Anybody else agree?

It's funny but I've already seen the film 2 or 3 times and this was the first time that I also noticed the astronaut looking a lot like Brando. It really looked to me like it was actually him sitting there. It seems like something that he'd do from what I've heard of his personality. Just wanted to let you know you weren't alone in this observation.
