Mr. Joyboy is buried at Forrest Lawn Hollywood!

I can't believe that Rod Steiger's family chose to bury him there after he was in this movie that mocked Forrest Lawn. I just read that the cemetery developer, when he wanted to open a second Forrest Lawn, outwitted the locals (who objected to a cemetery in their neighborhood) by having 4 "John Does" claimed at the county morgue and then burying them in the four corners (kind of like property line stakes) in the dead of night and the local residents could no longer protest because legally, the property was now a cemetery. That sounds just like something the Blessed Reverend would have done!

Ha! That's hilarious. I love every single character in this film. Such a classic.
