The urine stand in the beginning

At the start of the movie that takes place in liberated Paris in WWII, the spychief is urinating in a open type gazebo that seemed to be specifically made so that men could urinate and look out at the open public at the same time!

What a great idea! Does anybody know what they were called and are they still around Europe today?
