Ipcress is such a bad anagram

In the movie and as listed in the trivia section, Ipcress is an anagram for "Induction of Psychoneuroses by Conditioned Reflex Under Stress". I'm just suggesting that it must be one of the weakest anagrams on film. Even the way it was delivered/discovered in the flick.

You mean accronym.

"Someone has been tampering with Hank's memories."

reply

Yes, acronym.

But the OP's main point is correct. - and it should have been "Ipcrus."

reply

Should have been I CRUSH YOU! (capitalist swine)

The last three letters were from strESS, obviously.

It's also a terrible palindrome, a horrible ambigram and one of the worst onomatopoeias I've ever seen.

As an acronym, though, it was a bit of a stretch.

reply

It's also a terrible whodunnit and howcatchem.

It was not very catchy.

That's an acronym, not an anagram. 🙄
