The Book - Harm's Way

While the movie "In Harm's Way" is one of my favorite movies, I recently acquired the book that the movie is based on, James Bassett's "Harm's Way". I have found the book to be much better than the movie. While the cast was outstanding, as was the acting and the storyline, it did not hold true to the book.
Captain Torrey and Ensign Torrey were not adversarial in the book, and the story that kept going throughout the book was much better than that presented by the book.
