Why are IMDBers stupid?

This movie is brilliant and inexplicably under-rated. (I thought ninjas were cool?!) I really cannot see how it could come across as "silly". It is hugely gripping - certainly much more so than the atmospheric but lagging Samurai Rebellion, which gets much more acclaim.

I completely agree with you. I thought IMDB was for people who enjoy cinema as an art form as well as entertainment, but if that is so, why is there thousands of post on stupid movies like "alone in the dark?" I just don't understand it.

R.I.P. Arrested Development.

Samurai Spy is good, but it isn't Samurai Rebellion good. Not by a long shot.

I loved this movie.

It is a Japanese period Cold War film. It sets the stage for a war with its own intriguing mystery and plot.

I couldnt stop watching it if I tried. I was sucked in. The begining was confusing but you catch on pretty quick after the first 30 minutes.

Overall I thought it was a gripping thriller with good story and some great action.

IMDB used to be really great as far as cinema lovers, but now it's filled with goofy little trolls either looking to cause fights in the threads or posting silly little unrealistic threads like example, "INSERT CHARACTER HERE" VS. BATMAN, things of that nature. Sorry for the rant...

Samurai Spy is definitely a winner. I normally don't go for the ninja action in my jidai geki flicks, but this one did it quite nicely. Takashi Koji, the gentleman whom played Sasuke was really solid.

Agreed. I love Samurai Film and I just picked this one up. I don't really care what other people's perception of what a "Good" movie is anymore. lol I know what I like and when I can recommend to others, instead of knocking on films that aren't "Good". I'm gonna go watch this one now....
