I especially loved the scenes of the beautiful Swedish countryside.

Other than some stock establishing shots, it was filmed in Big Bear Lake, Big Bear Valley, San Bernardino National Forest, California, USA and Lake Arrowhead, San Bernardino National Forest, California, USA, according to IMDB it.

Or are you being sarcastic?

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.

I love the Swedes, but their countryside cannot compare to the beauty of California. Few places on earth can.

You can drive two hours east of L.A. and see that exact same beautiful Swedish countryside.
