Region 2 yes...but not on region 1 DVD (USA/Canada)

Get a region free player... they DO exist over there don't they? :) Or are they forbidden by the government?

Try looking in the charity shops, that's where I got my copy from.

It was released as a somewhat disparate double with 'A Matter Of Life And Death' as a freebie in a Sunday paper..

charity shops

Just acquired for free the selfsame double bill from a charity shop (I volunteer there and we don't sell the freebies from newspapers). It was a freebie given out by The Daily Mail and was supposed to include Return From The River Kwai which came with the Mail On Sunday.
