Public Domain?

Did this film enter the public domain or is it just the trailers that are?

far as i know ''HELP!'' was never in public domain...I believe Paul Mc Cartney gave the ok for the 2007 ''HELP!' DVD release ...the Beatles film ''LET IT BE'' was suppose to come out on DVD a couple years ago ,but PAUL put a block against it and wouldnt green light the release of LET IT BE on DVD ..so it's dead in the water.

Producer Walter Stenson chose to own AHDN and HELP outright after 15 years over getting more money up front. (I discussed this with him in 1981.) He got bad press over seemingly cashing in on John Lennon's death but in fact he had been planning the big rereleases for years and began restoring the films the instant that their ownership legally was his!
