This flic has a commendable cast;

-begins swimmingly,yet disappoints before we get to the 3rd of the movie !

Elvis looks good-then acts silly...script is poor & unbelievable.

Music is horrendous : beginning of the decline in quality in the Soundtracks as if it didn't matter !

Pacing is confused;definitely a lack of humor(if that was what was needed) : doesn't know what it wishes it to be.

Waste of energy,talent(Barty,Novello,Ansara)and time.Formula pix at its worst !

ps i don't believe this picture even qualifies as a curio; it is too painful to watch >>>

YOu need to watch Kissin COusins then lol Most seem to think that is the worst. Ive also heard CHarro was horrible but ive not seen it.

I liked this movie because it had a different setting, great, sets, colorful costumes but I enjoyed some of the music in it particularly 'So CLose Yet so Far" DUring that song there is an intensity in his face and at the end he is literally shaking from conveying the emotions of the love in the song. I also liked the song "Kismet".
