Besides the laughable historical inaccuracies, the most glaring mistakes I saw were the use of English saddles and western saddles instead of Cavalry or Mcclelland saddles. Even the Indians ride western saddles covered with blankets.

Also did you notice that Joseph Cotten was wearing his cavalry sabers on his hat upside down at around the 58 minute mark of the movie. Must have been that Confederate bourbon..haha
