Talk about turnabouts!!

I saw this movie today and it is one of the worst Calvary movies ever.

The "turnabouts" of this film are truly astounding. First, Reno goes from being a total drunk and loser to finally learning he is wrong about everything and turns about and becomes a hero. Then, Custer, who is very gallant goes to Washington, gets arrested for standing on principle and get's caught up in "Presidential fever" and goes back as a first class jackass. He becomes a total loser who even shoots his own men in the back when they run away. He becomes a first class politician. Even his wife can't turn him true. He doesn't see those who are trying to use him.

Dakota, the Indian hating scout, who is willing to kill all Indians, has a turn around when he sees a little Indian baby, picks him up and hugs him. He then turns around and helps to save the Indians. This is one "turnabout" that CANNOT be believed. This guy was lower than a snake and then dies trying to get away and, possibly, report the murders of the Indian women and children.

Of course, as it always is, Custer becomes a hero after his demise. But...... we know better don't we? lol
