Whatever happened to Noreen Corcoran?

I looked up her acting credits on IMDB and it seems that The Girls on the Beach was her last film. Her last television appearance listed is a Dec. 1965 episode of The Big Valley and then...nothing. It's like she dropped off the face of the earth just like that.

She seemd to be very pretty and very talented, so I dont know why her acting credits stop all of the sudden in 1965 when she was just 22 years old.

Why did she all of the sudden stop acting in movies and tv shows? What happened to her? What did she do after dropping out of films and television? What has become of her since? Did she get married? Any children? Where is she today? What is she doing?

May I suggest that you look her up on Wikipedia, if you haven't already thought of this yourself in the intervening 4 years since you asked this question. It gives a very succint informative account.

This is from the last paragraph in Wikipedia's entry, after it has detailed her acting credits which (as you correctly discovered from IMDB) did end in 1965...

"Noreen Corcoran left acting for a private career behind the scenes in theatre arts and dance. In 1966, she began an 11-year association with the Lewitzky Dance Company, which was opened that year by the renowned choreographer Bella Lewitzky. Corcoran has been retired since 2004. She resides in Chatsworth in the San Fernando Valley with her brother Hugh. She never married."
